Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice called for the immediate release of the two Israeli soldiers abducted in the cross-border Hezbollah raid. WOO HOO! Oh, wait… no one’s listening…
I’ve been somewhat following the events between Israel and Lebanon for the past 8 days. Where do I stand you ask? Well, with Israel of course – BUT I’m not for the killing of those civilians / bombing of the civilian cities. You’re not going to get rid of the terrorists by bombing civilian cities. Yeah, it’s impossible to determine civilian from terrorist (minus the bombs), but just dropping bombs isn’t going to solve the problem – it will just create more terrorists, especially against you, Israel.
Conspiracy Theory:
As some of us know, Lebanon now has longer-range weaponry that they’ve been using on Israel. Israel **cough** and the U.S. **cough** claim Iran and Syria to be the parties behind Lebanon’s new arsenal. Hmm… I sense a reason for the U.S. to invade Iran…
Conspiracy Theory:
Oops! Israel just walked into Syria by “accident.” Now we have Syria, Iran and Lebanon dropping bombs on Israel. Israel dropping bombs on Syria, Iran and Lebanon. The States coming in to police the World for 1 night… then drops bombs on Syria, Iran and Lebanon (any other Muslim country who wants to get involved). Cats and Dogs getting along, pigs fly and the “Stay Puff” Marshmellow Man terrorizes innocent New Yorkers once more. TOTAL MAYHEM!!!
I’m not serious about World War or anything, but then again I never thought we’d invade Iraq…
If you, Lebanon / Syria, don’t want to listen to Dr. Rice’s request then listen to Professor K!!!
Here’s my plea, people of Lebanon:
Find the Israeli soldiers and return them to Israel. You claim to not support terrorism, but you haven’t requested the soldiers freed or made a move to locate them. Stop the needless killing. Israel will leave… um, yeah…
